[Tutorial] Enable HTTPS in blogger custom domain

(Arjunsinh Chauhan) #1

There was one trick to use HTTPS in blogger custom domain using cloudflare, but the main problem is the connection was not secure from blogger origin to cloudflare server, also the canonical link tag was pointing to http version of blog.

But now Google beta giving free SSL to all blogger, it’s very easy to enable it in you custom domain name. To do that,

  1. First go to draft.blogger.com (here you will see all the latest update from blogger team).
  2. Now go to setting > basic and enable https availability.

  1. Now go back to your main blogger.com dashboard, and you will see same option there as well, but you’ve to wait for some moment to enable it there, because blogger register your SSL certificate automatically, but it take some time.
